The problem
Commissions were calculated by hand against a CRM that did not always reflect what the payment provider had actually done. Refunded deals still paid commission, duplicate charges went unnoticed, and nobody could prove a payout was right.
The outcome
Payouts reconcile exactly and every figure traces to a source. Mistakes now get caught before a customer notices, not three weeks later.

- Commission engine that reconciles the CRM against the payment provider before any payout
- Refund and clawback tracking, so a reversed deal reverses the commission with it
- Duplicate and missing payment detection that runs before the money moves
- A guard that blocks the next duplicate automatically instead of catching it after the fact
